Bez – There’s a lot to be said for simply being yourself. Just ask Bez, who’s forged a route to the heart of the nation simply by being himself, an Energizer Bunny indie icon who’s endured from the Happy Mondays heyday to winning Celebrity Big Brother, and of course his more recent appearance on Dancing on Ice.
And let’s be honest, anyone who can survive the Happy Mondays heyday and is here to tell the story, dancing and all, deserves our respect.
He’s Bez, the man who put the Mad into Madchester, an ever-green indie icon, a law unto himself, the indie icon, the dancing loon, the friendly Peter Pan of indie.
A true renaissance man, Clint delivers a DJ set guaranteed to get audiences of all ages dancing. Clint Boon is the Inspiral Carpets’ keyboard player/vocalist/songwriter who has more recently been recognised through his work as a radio presenter on XS Manchester after previously working for XFM Manchester, where he worked since the launch in 2006 and presented well over 2000 XFM shows.
Now Clint presents the drivetime show every day on XS Manchester – a radio station dedicated to fantastic Manchester music from past to present.
We will start our night with our resident Dj warming us up with some fantastic tunes then followed by the Number 1 Oasis tribute act Oasish followed by the main event of Bez and Clint Boon live on stage at the same time in a DJ off to be crowned the ultimate indie tune spinner.
If your a fan of live music this is surely not to be missed with early bird tickets available until 31st December 23.59pm for just £13.50 and £16.50 after this time and £18.50 on the night if any are available.
